Staten Island is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Staten Island is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Beautiful place to take a walk, wonderful landscapeing. They also say its a great place to fish, id disagree fishing is only permitted in the middle & the casting area is tight kids might have a hard time with the distance.

πΆββοΈa slow leisurely trip around the lake was around an hour. saw lots of joggers, adults and children on bicycles, dogs, babies in strollers. seeing others exercising in nature was truly inspiring. πΈ lots of differently coloured pink-petaled blossoms during springtime! π many hills, grassy areas, stairs, benches, large paths, and path variations. very well maintained.
